I wish I lived somewhere that had bulk pickup instead of having to borrow a pickup and take all of my trimming to the mulcher’s and pay them $100 for the privilege of processing it and selling it back to the public.

Yeah it would suck without a bulk pickup

That was my yesterday. Trimmed the hedge and scrubbed the grille with Easy-Off and Greased Lightning.

We all have a lot of .5 acre lots here. Some of the neighbor’s have resorted to just tossing piles of branches into county property on one side of the subdivision. Looks like crap, but hey their yards look nice. We had a bulk pickup once about 4 years ago but the HOA says it’s too expensive to do again. I guess I can’t complain because I’m too lazy to run for the HOA board.

Anyway nice job, yard looks great! I hate trimming (I’m an idiot with the pole saw and branches always end up on my head), but love the feeling of looking at it when you're done.

Well to be fair it probably does cost them a lot to go through it and pay taxes on the amount of land they need to run the place, but it always seemed odd to me.

We’re finally out of drought, so I could probably call the County Fire Marshall and just get permission to burn it, but I don't really have a good spot to do it.

Yeah, after giving it some thought.. Back in Davenport there was a City run Mulcher that was set up like that. But they heat treated and colored and whatevered the stuff before they sold it back to you. If it’s processed properly it’s worthwhile.

Oh man, but it looks like a pleasant bbq! Personally, I usually call it an accident and say I lost count ;)

(I understand, though, just couldn’t pass up the atrocious pun)
